Losing Someone is Hard
Many people who would benefit from grief counselling don’t seek support because they can’t afford to pay for counselling. Because of your generosity, we are able to offer grief counselling to Comox Valley residents who are experiencing a recent loss at no cost. For many people, having emotional support during the first year of loss means they are able to regain emotional stability and avoid the complications of ongoing depression.
The needs of each client is carefully determined by our clinical team and may include 1:1 counselling, phone support, companionship with a compassionate trained volunteer, a variety of grief support groups as well as a mail outreach program. You can learn more about our bereavement services here.
