Karen Guinan joined the Board of Directors of the Comox Valley Hospice Society in 2021. Karen is a partner and Business Advisor with MNP in Courtenay. She has been in public practise for over 24 years in the Comox Valley with a focus on agricultural and aquaculture. Karen was born and raised in the Comox Valley and has raised both of her boys here in the Valley with her husband Roger. In her downtime, you can find Karen on trails in Cumberland, on the field playing soccer or watching her boys play hockey and golf. Karen has served on many boards including, President of the Islands Agriculture Show and as a director on the Dawn to Dawn Action on Homelessness Society.

Karen is honoured to be a part of this highly talented and dedicated board. She has seen first hand the impact that Hospice has had on friends and family members. The compassion, kindness, empathy and understanding that are provided through this organization is why Karen feels this is the right place to be.
