Linda Lytle - Secretary

Linda is a former pharmacist whose career focused on pharmacy and its regulation in the public interest during her 25 years with the College of Pharmacists of BC. As the registrar and executive director for 10 years, she worked closely with the board of directors to advance pharmacist care in the public interest.

By introducing the concept of policy governance in the conduct of the board’s agenda, substantive professional practice innovations were achieved, including scope of practice expansions that continue to benefit pharmacy clients. She provided leadership at the national regulatory level that resulted in improved consistency across multiple pharmacy regulatory jurisdictions.

Since retirement, she served the BC Pharmacy Association as a board member and president, representing the interests of pharmacists. For 20 years, she has served as a strata council member and periodic president of a 55-unit condominium residence (Vancouver), a 21-unit condominium residence (Mexico) and a smaller strata residence (Comox).
