Tamsyn was born and raised in the Comox Valley and is happy to be back after spending the past ten years in Victoria, where she completed her education and began her professional career. She is now grateful to once again call the Valley home and is honoured to serve on the Board of Directors for the Comox Valley Hospice Society.

Having experienced the kindness and compassion of her community during a time of grief, Tamsyn developed a deep appreciation for the importance of supporting others through life's most difficult moments. Giving back to the community that has given so much to her and her family is something she values deeply, and she looks forward to using her creative skills and experience to help raise awareness of the Society's services and support its mission throughout the Comox Valley.

Outside of work, Tamsyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring Vancouver Island, and finding creative inspiration in nature. She and her husband also look forward to welcoming their first child later this year.
