Alyson Schmidt was born and raised in the Comox Valley and returned in 2017 after spending over a decade living in Toronto and Vancouver. Today, she owns and operates Schmidt & Associates, a boutique full-service wealth management firm licenced through Assante Wealth Management, based in Courtenay and serving clients throughout the country. Alyson has a special passion for helping her client families navigate the journey of aging and strongly believes in the power of community support in this important work, which ultimately brought her to the Board of the Comox Valley Hospice Society. Alyson is also a proud member of the Courtenay Rotary Club and has been involved in numerous local community projects.

When she’s not working, you’ll find her enjoying all that the beautiful Comox Valley has to offer (from boating, to golf, curling, and everything in between) with her husband Craig and their energetic Australian Shepherd, Daphne.
